Happy 4/13 and THANK YOU for an Incredible Weekend!

Posted on 13 April 2026 by Miles
Hello all, and HAPPY 4/13! A shorter post than I’d like, today, but we’re so busy winding down from the beauty of the weekend. I promise we’ll have more info for you soon! First of all, right off the bat, I have to say that this weekend was a complete fucking blast. Getting to do this kind of thing for a series we adore and fans that love it just as much is a joy and a relentless festival of treats on an average day, but NYCStuck was this weekend and it went even more phenomenally than I could possibly have anticipated. Before I launch into ranting about it I want to start off by saying thank you, from the absolute bottom of our hearts, for your support, because there were a number of times this weekend that me and a lot of other team members were moved legitimately to tears by the tremendous outpouring of love, enthusiasm, and just general good cheer we experienced during the event, not just because of the people who were there and what those two days were like at the event itself but because of what the event represented in terms of ALL of you across the world who care about what we do. Again, what a blast. There were some cosplays that blew my mind there and the number of people who came in cosplay was like... it might have legit been half or more of the attendees. There was a LY’LAC COSPLAY!!!!! We had people cosplaying Beyond Canon designs!!!!! The team is just over the moon about it. Also, the general energy, holy shit. I haven’t felt that kind of powerful Public Homestuck Pride in like... maybe a decade? We got to do panels! Fans gave us suggestions for an upcoming HS:BC update! We got to meet so many incredible fans face to face and thank them for their support even as they thanked us. A shitload of people asked us to sign autographs on bags and CD’s and plushies and books and I wasn’t prepared for that at ALL. Two beautiful fans got fucking engaged on stage! I keep shouting because it’s all so amazing!!! Really what it all was, to the whole team, was a reminder of how totally worth it it has been to invest so much of our time, lives, and love into this incredible fandom. I hope everyone who came had as much fun as we did, and I hope everyone who didn’t manage to make it knows that we still felt your presence there as the completely indispensable force that keeps this fandom alive and worth participating in in the first place. Getting to be around this level of Public Homestuck Pride is something that I wasn’t even sure was possible so far into Homestuck’s lifespan, but it happened and it was beautiful. We are very, very pleased by how this turned out, and hopefully soon we’ll begin making plans for the next big event, because you all proved this weekend how worth it that is. Thank you, from everyone at Furthest Ring Studios, for your support, for your time, your attention, your excitement, all of it. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. Thank you to everyone who helped us make this event possible on the production end! Thank you to FRS itself, every member of which has worked so hard for this comic, this fandom in general. Thank you to Andrew, who made something beautiful enough that people are still having their lives utterly changed by it 17 years after it began, and who allowed us to be a part of it. And thank you, sincerely, to each and every Homestuck fan celebrating or even just quietly appreciating what Homestuck means to them on this incredible day. In the coming days and weeks, we’re going to try and post a lot more of the details of the event. We’re talking cosplays, the amazing notebooks full of drawings that attendees made, maybe some videos... as much as we can to share a little bit of the magic of NYCstuck with everyone. As for comic business, not much to discuss! As soon as we get back from settling up the post-event business, and maybe sleep for like a full day, we’re getting right back to production. We’re so excited to share more with you guys and we’re looking forward to another incredible year of Homestuck. Keep your eyes peeled for more communications from staff, and I’d like to give a special shout-out to Chumi specifically, without whom this event would not have been possible. Please, please let her know how much this event meant to you if you enjoyed it. Thank you all, for the last time this newspost but definitely not the last time, for everything. — Miles, and the entire staff at Furthest Ring Studios
